Some Ground Rules . . .
1. Students, please have permission from your parent(s) or guardian before using this website.
2. After you are finished visiting a link or playing a game, you may need to re-enter the Geography Expedition web pages.
3. If you have trouble playing any of the online games or viewing the photos in the gallery, you many need to turn off your pop-up blocker. Or, you may need to download and install Java. (See About this Site for more information). Please seek a parent's permission before you alter your computer in any way.
4. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher in order to download and print out the coloring pages, the crossword puzzles, or any PDF download. (See About this Site for instructions on how to update your Adobe software). Again, please seek a parent's permission before you alter your computer in any way.
5. Be patient! Some of the mazes and memory games take a few seconds to open the first time (depending upon the speed of your computer's processor).

Our volunteers will be grading this year's Expedition packets. All it takes is one day or morning. Last year we were able to get almost all of them done in one afternoon and we had fun doing it! We will be grading the answer packets on Thursday, December 2nd. Don't worry - an answer key is provided! If you are interested in helping, please send an e-mail or call. If you could do some at home, but can not come to Nixon during the day, we still would love your help!
We also need parents who are willing to consider writing the next Expedition! If you had fun with the Expedition, please consider helping to write the next version! We need parents who are willing to work with the writers and help us organize. Kate, Sam, and the students of Nixon School are waiting for you to lead them on their next adventure!!

The Parent Feedback Form is an important part of the Great Geography Expedition. It lets us know what you and your child liked about the Expedition, and what we could do better next year.
If you have lost your copy of the Parent Feedback Form, please use the link below to download a hardcopy. Please be sure to complete this form and turn it in with your child's Expedition Answer Sheets no later than November 22nd.
