Community Notices

The PTOs in the district maintain an online listing of many of the notices for the Sudbury school community.

Community Notice Submission Process

To submit community notices and flyers to the Sudbury Public Schools (SPS), please complete the following:

E-mail your materials to Diane LaChapelle in the SPS Central Office at diane_lachapelle@sudbury.k12.ma.us prior to 11:00 am on Tuesday of the week you would like the materials posted. Any flyers received after the Tuesday deadline of 11:00 am may be delayed in posting up to one full week.  In your e-mail, please:

  • State your name and the name of the group you represent.
  • List your daytime contact phone number.
  • Include your material in the body of the e-mail or attach it as either a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF document.
  • The length of time you would like you would like your flyer posted (see below).
  • Type "Community Notice" in the Subject line of the e-mail.

If you would like your flyer to be posted for more than one week, please specify the time period in which you would like it to be posted.  (For example, "please post this flyer from February 10th through February 24th"). Flyers may be posted no more than four weeks.   If any changes need to be made to posted flyers, the flyers must be resubmitted to the district office for approval.

If you are unable to e-mail your notice, you may also submit your notice in hard copy to Diane LaChapelle at the District Central Office at 40 Fairbank Road. Any submissions not made via e-mail or not in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF may experience a delay in posting of as much as one full week.

All notices must be approved by the Sudbury Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. John Brackett. Diane LaChapelle may contact you to discuss modifications. There are currently no restrictions on the number of graphics that can be used. All submissions (except those noted above) will be posted or distributed by the Elementary Schools and Middle School by the end of the week.

Please note that if you include contact information in your material to be posted on the school Websites on the Internet, the security of that contact information cannot be assured by Sudbury Public Schools. If you are concerned about your contact information being available on any of the SPS Websites, you have three options:

  1. Provide your name in your notice to be posted and ask people who would like to contact you to look up your phone number in the Sudbury phone book.
  2. Use a generic e-mail address from your organization's existing e-mail boxes (such as Fundraising@YourOrganization.org).
  3. Create a dedicated e-mail account at a free e-mail service (such as Yahoo!) and provide that e-mail address as your contact information. For instance, YourOrganization@Yahoo.com
